Our Commitment to the Environment
JBH Associates Ltd recognises that is has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We acknowledge the importance of protecting the environment that inspires the products we help deliver. Many of our clients rely on high-quality paper goods, creative design, and sustainable materials, and we are committed to supporting those values through responsible operational practices.
We actively work to reduce the environmental impact of our warehousing and distribution activities by focusing on efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible resource use. This includes optimising storage and picking processes to minimise unnecessary handling, reducing packaging waste where possible, and prioritising recycling of cardboard, paper, and other materials commonly used within our facilities. All JBH boxes have been re-engineered to continue using recycled products. Box fillers such as plastic bubble wrap and plastic air pockets have been replaced with the use of recycled paper product. For distribution in the UK parcel tape has moved from cello tape to recycled paper tape. Our distribution planning aims to improve transport efficiency by consolidating shipments and optimising delivery routes, helping to reduce fuel consumption and associated emissions. Within our warehouses, we continually review energy usage, lighting, and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement and long-term sustainability.
